Stanley Harris Medal
In 1998 The Stanley Harris Medal for Distinguished Service to the Federation of Wine and Food Societies of New Zealand was designed in honour of the Founder President of the Federation, and presented to Stanley Harris in that year. At the Annual general Meeting of the Federation held in Hawkes Bay on 29 April 2000, this award was presented to Beverley Sheldrick, a past President of the hamilton Society and previously Northern Vice President and for five years Chairman of the Federation. The award was presented to Beverley by Stanley Harris himself.
